Dr. Kingsley Achikeh is AMAZING! He is so warm and friendly. I was very nervous to see a dentist after 6 years. I had bad experiences but the time came and I needed to get my teeth checked. I only had 1 filling to get but his approach was so kind and gentle, which I find most dentist lack these days. I got a new job and new insurance, so I couldn't see him anymore but if I could I would see him. If you are looking for a dentist, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!!!!!

Dr. Achikeh is super sweet. I appreciate him for taking the time to explain the issues with my teeth without trying to upsell me. I came in as a new patient, expecting to undergo a procedure that had been recommended by a previous dentist. However, Dr. Achikeh suggested other options for me and thoroughly explained to me why the procedure was unnecessary. I am generally nervous about going to the dentist, but his warm and welcoming personality definitely put my mind at ease. I also appreciate the flexible hours! I was very happy that this office gave me a chance to schedule a follow up appointment after 5pm, at which most offices would close.

As a person who gets very nervous about going to the dentist (& has admittedly therefore not been to see a dentist in too many years), Dr. Achikeh and the City Place Dental team made me feel delightfully at ease. Great people, very communicative, encouraging, and skilled. I absolutely recommend this practice to anyone who may fear going to the dentist.

Before I came here I was already scared to death bc my teeth are very sensitive. Dr. Achikeh cleaned my teeth himself and I have to tell you I was not afraid of being hurt. It was perfect. I was so happy that I finally came and had my professional cleaning. This will be my dentist in Silver Spring from now on. Thanks

The office ran very smoothly and had a very pleasant atmosphere. Dr. Achikeh explained what he was doing and why and was very helpful when it came to considerations of cost and insurance. It was by far the best experience I've ever had with a dentist!

The doctor did not seem to have time for me as he was rushing to go back to the other patient. Well I took a day off at work and my husband stayed home to watch my kids and the Doctor who was by the way nice , told me he was going to answer my questions at the next visit . I was like really so I wasted my time for nothing . I was supposed to go back for teeth guard but I changed my mind . I will never go back there. And God knows I chose him because he is an African like me, that is a shame.

I enjoyed my first visit to Dr. Kingsley office. He is very smart, funny, enjoyable and I feel very comfortable with him. The office was very very nice. The staff was very nice, professional and efficient. I am glad I found this office. I have already recommended him to a friend. I will be bringing my 8 year old daughter as soon as she turns 9. Thank you so much for helping me to find him.

Dr. Achikeh was exceptional. I had to wait about 30 minutes to be seen, but he came out after about 10 or 15 minutes and personally apologized to me for making me wait. His staff also acknowledged twice that I would be seen as soon as possible. When I got in to see him, he did the cleaning himself- that hasn't happened to me in a long time. He apologized two more times for making me wait. He also took the time to listen to me when I explained the problems I was having and didn't make me feel rushed.
I need to get my wisdom teeth taken out, which I've known for quite some time now. He talked through with me the reasons why more clearly than anyone else ever has. He also pointed out that it's not an emergency, and told me it's fine to wait a while if now is not a good time for me to have the surgery. Finally, he offered to email me a referral letter for the oral surgeon, which I thought was an especially convenient option.
All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to go back!

He is really an excellent doctor. He so knowledgeable and such a master at dentistry that he can save you alot of time, money and grief. He is our ONLY dentist now for all our dental needs.

Excellent Hygenist and the Doc was pleasant and knowledgeable. Can be difficult to find a good Hygenist but you can't overstate the importance of this person since they spend the majority of the time with you!
