She has been an active member in the Academy of General Dentistry since 1994, giving her an opportunity to interface with other dentists and share the latest developments in patient care and reparative and cosmetic dental procedures.

Dr. Koffman's was the worst dental experience I've ever had. She called me three times leading up to the appointment to ask me what the appointment was for. It was a simple dental cleaning, though she seemed to keep forgetting. My appointment was set for 3:45pm. I received an email and text message reminder confirming this. However, she called me at 3:20 the day of the appointment, asking where I was and saying my appointment was at 3pm. When I explained that my confirmation email said 3:45pm and that was the time I had intended, she argued with me briefly, told me to hurry and hung up the phone.
At the office, Dr. Koffman had me fill out all the paperwork I had already filled out online. When I explained I had already filled it all out so I could get right in, she simply waved me away.
Dr. Koffman is literally the only person who was working at her office...no dental assistants, partners or receptionists. This means she can only help one person at a time and moves slowly. Throughout my appointment while in the chair, she would leave to answer the phone (since she had no one else to do this). On one of these occasions I pulled out my phone to text (I would never do this while she was present, but since she kept leaving me, I didn't think it was rude). When she returned she saw me finishing up my text and said curtly, "No cell phones. Turn that off and put it away."
Before she started working on my cleaning, she handed me a tissue and said "For when you cry." I KID YOU NOT. This is about the last thing in the world I want to hear before my new dentist is about to work on my mouth. I didn't cry but it HURT. She was not gentle at all and did not let up at all when I winced or made it obvious how much she was hurting me. Although she said I have no cavities and take very good care of my mouth, she still made me bleed quite a bit.
To top it all off, Kristina complained about the patient before me and how badly they took care of their teeth. She also told me private family matters of another patient she had who was autistic. I felt this was extremely unprofessional and if she was working under anyone I was aware of, I would have reported her.
I could go on and on as there is more, but hopefully this is a convincing enough review that others will read and know to choose someone else. I almost never write reviews on anyone but in this case, it feels like my duty to all of mankind's potential patients who are considering Dr. Kristina Koffman. Choose anyone else! Thank me later.
