Soon after completing his undergraduate degree at Northwestern University, Dr. Abbas met an inspiring dentist while attending Yale School of Public Health in New Haven, CT. He learned the potential dentistry has for improving people’s lives. Driven to provide service himself, Dr. Abbas decided to enter an accredited dental program. The rest, as they say, is history; he enjoys providing safe, thoughtful care for children and special needs families every day.
Dr. Abbas began his dental studies at Boston University’s School of Dental Medicine. Since earning his doctorate, he has continued his education at various esteemed institutions. He received his Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) certificate from the Milwaukee VA Medical Center in Wisconsin. Through CE courses from NuSmile he honed his skills in zirconia pediatric crowns which allows him to provide a more esthetic result for his young patients.
Outside the office, Dr. Abbas keeps himself busy. He enjoys spending time with his brother, sister, and their families, especially playing favorite uncle to his six nieces and nephews. Dr. Abbas also enjoys traveling, taking yearly trips to new foreign destinations. A devoted sports fan, he enjoys a relaxing night watching his beloved Chicago Bulls play basketball.
