He is poorly informed and talked me into pulling my tooth??
Illinois care does pay for 1 root canal and 1 Crown per tooth per 60 months. That's all of my teeth if necessary!
I would not ever have a tooth pulled??
So sad
He seems to be a good dentist and adequate for a "doc in the box practice"

I liked him personally. However, he was the only dentist there so my visit seemed rushed. He and the assistant explained everything but it was very quick and I had to look up a couple things.

Dr. Kory Waid was born, raised, and graduated high school in Merrill, WI (class of 1998). He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2003, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2010. Dr. Waid now lives in Geneva, IL with his wife, Christy, and practices dentistry at Smiles on Randall in Carpentersville, IL. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Waid and his wife enjoy golfing and vacationing at Lake Carroll during the summer months. Dr. Waid also enjoys following the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, and the Marquette Golden Eagles. Medicaid is complicated with dental care. I set up appointment for cleaning and hygienist could not do it bc the insurance didnt cover it. So my appointment was wasted. I think the office could have told me that ahead of time. I called and asked in advance if they accept it. They said they did but they didn't say that it didn't cover cleaning - the main reason for the apartment.
