Dr. Pries runs a great operation. From scheduling to reception and check-in. His team is friendly and efficient. The facility is clean and modern. I take my whole family there. Dr. Pries and his staff are great with adults and children alike. Everything is explained to you and my kids like that everything done is as pain free as possible. Both my kids actually like to go to the dentist.

Dr. Kostantinos (Gus) Pries received his Bachelors degree Cum Laude in General Biology with a concentration in Systems Physiology from San Jose State University in 2002. He pursued his dental education at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and received his D.D.S. degree in 2005. His interest in learning and continuing his education in General Dentistry led him to complete a General Practice Residency at the San Francisco Veteran’s Affairs Hospital where he was able to learn and practice with some of the leading board certified clinicians in dentistry. His residency training gave him further experience in cosmetics, implants, periodontics, oral surgery, dentures, and other advanced restorative procedures, which he uses on a daily basis. After gaining practice and confidence working as an associate, Dr. Pries decided to open his own practice back in his home city of San Jose, known as Pries Dental Care.
Dr. Pries and staff attend continuing education events on a regular basis to broaden their knowledge of new innovative procedures, techniques and products. We use the latest in technology and products to make your experience as easy as possible. This includes CEREC, or crowns while you wait, minimizing additional visits and injections.
In his spare time, Dr. Pries enjoys reading, staying physically fit, gardening, S.F. Giants baseball, and spending time with his wife and new baby.

Dr. Pries is a fantastic dentist. He is kind and considerate, always explaining and illustrating what's going on in your mouth so that decisions can be made collectively. He and his staff are extremely professional, such that trips are always expedient and relatively painless. Dr. Pries is also great with kids!

I thought that Dr. Pries' office was very well staffed and organized and very professional. They are prompt and are very good about sending out reminders, whether it is through mail or text message. All the employees are very professional and the hygenist is extremely careful and gentle w/ her cleanings. Dr. pries is also very pleasant and easy to talk about things.

Dr. Pries is an amazing dentist! I first saw Dr. Pries after I had my first child and needed a root canal one week after having a baby. I've also struggled with genetically "bad" teeth, and Dr. Pries is the most patient, kind dentist! His office staff and hygenist are all fabulous as well.

I have been going to Dr. Pries since he first opened. I'm pretty consistant about going to the dentist evey six month and each visit to Dr. Pries has professional and thorough. I truly feel that Dr. Pries has my best interest in mind for both my preventative care and for any issue that may arise

Dr. Pries office is great. The front staff is kind and helpful. Whenever I need to change my appointments, they are always ready to help find the best day & time that works w/ my schedule. I drive from SF, so that is very helpful to me. The hygenists are also super nice & easy to talk to. They are gentle w/ cleanings, so you are not afraid to go see them. Dr. Pries is easy to talk to as well and is very knowledgeable in his field & always learning new things.
