I find Dr. Kristi Chiang and her office personnel to be easy to work with in a caring, relaxing and professional environment. My favorite is their teeth whitening results before important events where their Gentle Smiles Dentistry practice in Anaheim produces my HUGE smiles.

This has been my second visit with Kristi Chang, DDS, and each time she has always been very punctural to see me, she has explained every procedure in a way that was easy to understand, and she has been gentle when working on my teeth. Usually, I dread the dentist, but being in Kristi's care was calming and an easy experience. Also, all of her staff is very friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable.
The thing I will say about my second visit is that I made an appointment because I felt some pain about a filling I had done. I was worrying about the filling more than I should have. I think most dentist's would have just see me at the consultation office and told me not to worry about it. Kristi took the time out to actually inspect every part of the work she had done on me. She went above and beyond her duties.

Dr. Chiang grew up in Cerritos, California. She graduated from Whitney High School with Highest Honors, and went on to Pacific Union College located in Napa Valley, California where She graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Chemistry, AS in Music, and a minor in Business Administration.
Following college, Dr. Chiang went on to Loma Linda University where she earned her DDS. In addition, she completed a one year general practice residency from Harlem Hospital Center in New York City, which is affiliated with Columbia University. Dr. Chiang worked as an associate dentist in New York City before returning to her beloved home state of California.
Many people wonder what inspired Dr. Chiang to become a dentist, which she can accredit to numerous family members in the field; the most influential of these being Dr. Robert Souw. Dr. Chiang has been most fortunate to have acquired the practice of Dr. Souw, in which she practices full time.
Dr. Chiang believes in life long learning and participates in numerous continuing education courses. She is a member of the illustrious Spear Study Club and loves expanding her knowledge of everything dental. Dr. Chiang strives to provide the best care for her patients, utilizing the latest techniques and materials and digital x-rays. In her spare time, Dr. Chiang enjoys sports and the great outdoors, food, and participates in her local church.

Even thought we're talking about a Dentist, I would really say the whole experience was actually quite enjoyable. Very friendly staff, and when it comes down to it, it's the skilled hands that makes the difference. Dr. Chiang was excellent, I didn't once jump out of the chair. I had 10+ years of built up junk and she cleaned me up and sent me on my way faster than I thought possible. I'm not cavity prone so I can't review her other dental work, but for a cleaning I'd say it was top notch.

Dr Kristi Chiang has restored my trust and faith back into dentists. I used to hate going to the dentist but now I actually enjoy my visits. She's very friendly and informative on what she is going to do upon each visit. There is never any time that you do not know what to expect. Her assistants are very friendly and you can tell that they genuinely care about their patients.

She is highly skilled and affordable. Everytime you go in the office everyone remembers you and is happy to see you.
I moved to LA and still go to her because she makes me feel at home.
She did invisalign for me and it turned out great!

Dr. Chiang is an excellent dentist. She is honest, gave an excellent cleaning and took much time to make my first visit informative and understandable. Dr. Chiang has excellent credentials and the skills to match. I am so happy to have found such a good dentist. Her staff is excellent also. Her prices are fair and she worked also to make the dental work needed affordable.

Getting teeth whitened is a long process, so Dr. Chiang turned her cell phone to some Chopin, put it on speaker phone, & that helped. It went very well; the chairside assistant, Rosa, also made me feel more comfortable.

She's very honest and extremely thorough, and knowing that, it definitely helps you relax through your dental problems. She even makes sure your numb shot doesnt hurt, which is definitely a plus for someone who hates any pain in their mouth!

She performed my Root Canal with a very low level of pain to none either do the the way she administered the Pain meds or from being cautious and experienced. I usually more shots that what she administered. I will be back.
