Dr. Kristy T. Wiseman was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana. She is an honors graduate of Indiana University at Bloomington where she majored in biology with minors in psychology and chemistry. Her summer work as a dental assistant in high school and college led to her interest in dentistry and her eventual graduation from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2005.
Dr. Wiseman stresses patient education and works with her patients in a collaborative atmosphere to achieve their oral health goals. She strives to help her patients minimize their fears and feel more comfortable in the treatment chair. Being an active member in the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society keeps her up to date with the latest in dental treatments as well as national and local issues.
Dr. Wiseman is married to her dental school sweetheart, Adam. He served as a Lieutenant in the US Navy and the couple was stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC. They fell in love with North Carolina and decided to make it their home. After his release from active duty, they moved to the Charlotte area.
Whether it involves weekends at the Carolina coast, visiting with family and friends in the Midwest, or vacationing just about anywhere, Dr. Wiseman's favorite way to spend leisure time is traveling. During football season you will find her cheering on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, her hometown team. She is also an avid reader and loves outdoor activities such as boating at Lake Norman and playing golf.
