Just the thought of getting any dental work used to scare the most stalwart among us. Time, technology, and technique have changed all that. Kulwant S. Verraich, DENT' 93, was known at the School of Dental Medicine for his pain-free work. Verraich, originally from India, moved to Canada with his parents where he had done his undergraduate studies. He attended Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry and graduated in 1993. After doing a General Practice Residency for a year at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio, he attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine to complete his Endodontics Specialty and earned a Master's in Dental Science. He also practiced at Pitt's Endodontics Faculty for two years. Dr. Verriach also became a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, Canada in 1993.
He is a member of the American Association of Dentists, the Washington State Dental Association, the Seattle King County Dental Society, and the American Association of Endodontists. He has attended the Misch International Implant Institute Canada and completed the requirements to place and restore Dental Implants. He has been practicing dentistry in the Greater Seattle area since 2000 by providing his expertise to the patients in need.
When he is not reading dentistry magazines, he is spending time with his family and friends. He loves the technological advances in his field and hopes to contribute to them, but he knows that making the patient comfortable is the most important part of his work. He likes people, so putting them at ease comes naturally to him as being the compassionate dentist.
