The visit was great. I have no complaints. I came in early for my appointment and I was seated almost right away. The office creates a very comfortable and friendly atmosphere.

My daughter and I both enjoy visiting the office. My daughter is seen right away and she always has a great experience. I enjoy the nice and clean waiting room (listening to the good music). I have recommended this office on two occasions already.

The Brace Place has been built on a strong tradition which has served Grand Prairie and the surrounding mid-cities for over 30 years. It is my mission to continue and expand on this tradition by exceeding your expectations with the highest quality of care and customer service.
As a previous orthodontic patient I can appreciate the commitment necessary from the patients and parents in order to achieve the smile that they deserve. As I view every patient as my own family member you can rest assured that I will do everything in my power to give you the best smile possible during treatment.
Dr. Lateefah Washington grew up in New York City. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at Cornell University and her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. During dental school, she received many scholastic achievement awards including being inducted into national dental honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) and receiving the dental implant student award from the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
After graduation, she continued her studies at the University of Minnesota for an additional two years and received her Certificate in Orthodontics and her Masters in Science. Dr. Washington is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Texas Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Washington is also passionate about helping others. She enthusiastically supports Doctors without Borders and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, spending time with her husband, and taking her dogs to the dog park.
