I have avoided the dentist for years due to bad experience. I saw the reviews for Dr. Fuentes and I must say they were right. The wait time was a little long but it was well worth it. The staff was so friendly and most important they did not rush me out the door but answered all my questions and concerns. Dr. Fuentes and the dental hygienist were very patient and careful. They made sure I was comfortable during my visit . I have finally found a good dentist :-)

The first time I visited, for a consultation, the wait time was roughly 10-15 minutes. The second time, for fillings, was about 45 minutes. Aside from the wait time, my experience was very pleasant. Dr. Fuentes is very personable and caring. The rest of the staff is friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Dr. Fuentes to anyone looking for a professional and personable dentist.

Dr. Fuentes graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in 2001. She later completed a two year Advanced General Practice Residency (A-GPR) in hospital dentistry at the Gallup Indian Medical Center in Gallup, NM while serving as an Officer in the U.S. Public Health Service.
Dr. Fuentes’ strong commitment to providing dental care to the underserved and underprivileged segments of our society was manifest even while in dental school, where she participated in the Junior and Senior COSTEP programs with Department of Health of Human Services and served with both the Indian Health Service and the Federal Bureau of Prisons. During her active duty service with the USPHS, Dr. Fuentes later achieved the rank of Lieutenant Commander and performed tours of duty throughout the nation, including multiple emergency deployments. During her service she earned multiple awards & citations and received an Honorable Discharge.
After completing her tours of service, Dr. Fuentes translated all of her dental knowledge and expertise to her private practice in Edison, NJ, where she loves to focus on dental adult and pediatric patient care. She also has a ‘kiddie magic touch’ and loves providing dental care to children. She believes in achieving outstanding oral health in all of her patients through the combination of proper dental health, function and aesthetics through patient education & treatment.
When not performing dentistry, Dr. Fuentes likes to relax by cooking, listening to music and by hitting the dance floors on the weekends. She loves going to her son’s little league baseball games and programming video games with him. She will be looking forward to taking care of your dental health! Cheers!
