Dr. Lauren Mathews is a Southern California native that grew up in the small town of Seal Beach. She graduated from University of California, Riverside with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and she completed a General Practice Residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical center where she earned the highest honor of Resident of the Year.
Dr. Mathews is committed to being a lifelong learner and regularly attends lectures and seminars to stay current and updated. She is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Angel City Dental Society,and the Harbor Dental Society. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
It was an easy decision for Dr. Mathews to pursue a career in dentistry based on the level of artistry involved, the ability to work with her hands, as well as the interaction with people. She also loves a good challenge. She is dedicated to ensuring quality care to all of her patients and thoroughly enjoys the bonds and relationships that are formed. She wants nothing more than to have happy and satisfied patients that walk away with bright and beautiful smiles.

Dr. Lauren Mathews was very nice and very through with my teeth cleaning; however, she seemed a little distracted. I also had to wait for 30 minutes after I had been told to leave work early to come in in time.
