Dr. Leanne Mazzei’s interest in orthodontics began early when, at the age of 13, she worked in her father’s orthodontic practice in New York. She has proudly served the community for over 20 years and has created over 10,000 beautiful Mazzei smiles. Dr. Mazzei is very committed to combining the right mix of personal care, high technology and continuing education.
Dr. Mazzei graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After working as an R.N. in Philadelphia and New York, Dr. Mazzei returned to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry. She then completed two years of postdoctoral orthodontic training at NYU.
Dr. Mazzei keeps herself current on cutting-edge technology and the very latest advances in the field of orthodontics through seminars, extensive reading and continuing education courses.
Dr. Mazzei is a current member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, American Association of Women Dentists, the South Florida Academy of Orthodontists, the Florida Dental Association and the Broward Dental Society.
