Dr. Lena Salha is a dentist treating patients in the Austin area since 1987. She operates out of the Dental Arts by Lena office, where she treats patients of all ages using conservative Restorative and Cosmetic dentistry to achieve long lasting beautiful smiles. In addition to English, she is fluent in Arabic, French, and Spanish.
Having graduated from Houston Baptist University with a BS degree and a double major in Biology and Chemistry, Dr. Salha earned her DDS from the University of Texas Dental Branch and completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry, at the Indiana University School of Dentistry. She is well trained in all phases of general dentistry and offers a full range of dental services at her clinic.
When she is not treating patients, Dr. Salha enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She also enjoys singing with her church choir and the Conspirare Symphonic Choir, swimming, and taking long walks around Austin.

Very sweet and quick to get you from the waiting room. Sometimes her intern/assistants don't seem to be well versed (everyone has to start somewhere), but Dr. Salha works to do the very best for you. She saved my tooth that was only about 10% left. Eventually, I might have to have a root canal or implant, but for now, she's fixed me up!

Dr. Salha is very kind! She helped me look at the problem areas with my teeth and told me why/how come things build up in certain areas. The hygienist is also very kind and helpful! They have really nice equipments there, but the XRay machine can hurt a little, I have a small mouth. They also provided a washcloth to wipe my face down afterwards, so very good hospitality. Will go again!

I had a sudden and painful issue with a crowned tooth (infection/abcess). Dr. Salha got me in immediately for an exam, and had me on the road to recovery right away. For various reasons this was my first time going to the dentist in over 20 years, but due to my recent pleasant experience with Dr. Salha's office, I plan on starting back up with regular cleanings and maintenance of my teeth. I will go back to this office for all my future dental needs.

Dr. Salha was excellent! Very personable and helpful. She was willing to work with me on the price of a mouth guard when my insurance wouldn't cover it. Also, her dental hygienist Karen was highly skilled as well. Best cleaning I've had in a while!

I have had awful experiences with dentists and orthodontists in the past, so I was a little anxious about my appointment. Dr. Salha and her assistant immediately put me at ease. The office is cozy and welcoming with flowers and a courtyard garden. I've never had an enjoyable experience with a teeth cleaning before, but that's what I got with Dr. Salha. She is friendly, warm, and personable. She is very thorough and yet also very gentle with her work. I absolutely recommend Dr. Salha.

Seemingly very unconfident in her abilities. Told me for 3 different things that she could not do the procedure, and would have to refer me out. The only thing she seemed capable of doing was a cleaning. Her assistant was rough and unenthusiastic and was irritated when I bled while she jammed the bitewing in my mouth for x-rays. Dr. Salha was NOT upfront about costs and I left paying way more than I had walked in expecting to pay, and after having a procedure performed on me that I didn't understand before she had already started performing on me.

I was blown away by how kind and cooperative Dr. Salha was. She let me know what exactly she was doing and why she was doing it every step of the way. It's very important to develop a liking for a dentist before really coming to grips with the idea of allowing them to dig and jab and scrape and poke you in the mouth with sharp instruments, and Dr. Salha is just a very likable and positive person who obviously loves what she's doing. Her office took care to inform me of the out-of-pocket costs of a follow-up procedure that I need to have done. -- Next time I'm in Austin and need to see a dentist, I will definitely be returning to Dr. Salha

I'm extremely nervous about dentists, and I've had quite a few less than stellar experiences in the past that have only served to fuel the fear. My visit with Dr. Salha was very different. Dr. Salha was very friendly, and didn't make me feel judged or guilty for the condition of my teeth and gums. She seemed to make it her personal mission to make sure that I felt more comfortable with my image, and gave useful tips and tricks for me to help take better care of my teeth, and also told me everything she was doing and why it would help. She seems to genuinely enjoy her job, and everyone in the office was very friendly. I will definitely be back!

Dr Salha is one of the most charming dentists I have been to. Not only is she kind, and compassionate, she is also very knowledgeable in her field.
Her office setting is ultra modern and very high tech. Her staff put me at ease and her office is so spa like and all the nice relaxing aromas floating all over the place made me feel very comfortable. All the rooms are so spacious and look out to the backyard with all of her pretty flowering plants and trees. I would just go there to read it is so relaxing , nice and very clean. Loved my dental visit.
