Dr. Les Hoenig grew up in the Los Angeles area, After his undergraduate work, he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Detroit School of Dentistry.
Following his graduation, Dr. Hoenig completed his Internship at William Beaumont General Hospital in El Paso Texas, while serving in the United States Army. Later, he served as Chief of the Dental Clinic at Kenner Army Hospital in Fort Lee, Virginia.
Moving back to California in 1972, Dr. Hoenig established his general practice in Fremont, CA, where he practiced for 32 years. Moving to El Dorado Hills in 2004, he has continued in general practice, with an emphasis in Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Hoenig is a member of the American and California Dental Associations, the Sacramento Dental Society, and a past member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and has been on staff of several hospitals.
Dr. Hoenig enjoys spending time with his wife Michelle, their sons, and grandchildren. He is a gourmet cook, likes to travel, and takes pleasure in relaxing in the mountains, close to fly fishing and snow skiing.
