Dr. Liljana Petrova believes that general dental care is as vital to a person’s good health as any physical or annual exam. She is committed in making sure every patient feels comfortable and secure while undergoing any type of treatment. Dr. Petrova has been practicing general dentistry for more than 30 years.
Her love of being a dentist has resulted in her going to dental school not once, but twice. Born in Europe, she started her career after earning her doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Skopje, in Skopje, Macedonia. With many relatives, including her parents, living in the United States, Dr. Petrova immigrated to this country with her own family. In order to resume her passion of practicing dentistry, Dr. Petrova had to make tremendous personal sacrifices to attend Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, where she received her second DDS degree in 1994.
To ensure her patients receive the best care possible, Dr. Petrova focuses on learning and implementing the latest in cosmetic and general dentistry advancements. Her office is equipped with state of the art equipment and technology to maximize on the patient’s comfort and experience. In addition to English, Dr. Petrova is fluent in Macedonian, Serbian and Bulgarian. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Columbus Dental Society, Central Ohio Academy of Dental Practice Administration and the Columbus Academy of Contemporary Dentistry.

Dr. Petrova is the most caring and capable dentist I have ever been treated by. She is gentle and fast, but most importantly she educates the patient on the importance of oral health and proper cleaning techniques at home. Her office is very warm and inviting and her staff always makes you feel welcomed. There is no other place that I would rather go than to Blacklick Family Dental!

Before visit Blacklick Family Dental I had a fear of going to the dentist. Dr. Petrova made me feel very comfortable. The office was very clean and the treatment was gentle. I felt relaxed and at ease. In addition, I found the services to be affordable compared to my previous dentist. The staff was friendly and compassionate. I would reccomend Dr. Petrova & Blacklick Family Dental to my family and friends.

So thorough, you don't even realize how much is being done because they are also so efficient. I am so grateful to have Dr. Petrova for my dentist and her staff is so great as well.
