Award-winning Orthodontic Specialist, loving mom, author and driven entrepreneur, Dr. Lisa Grant believes the truest form of success is making a difference in a meaningful way. A Chicago suburban native, Lisa has been transforming smiles and building confidence that has won over loyal fans for over 10,000 patients, since 1993.
Grant grew up with an incredible smile, thanks to a brief stint with braces between the ages of 10-12 – providing her with the confidence at a young age, to pursue her dreams. At the University of Illinois, after gearing up for a career in medicine, she found her way to dentistry after meeting her now husband, Dr. Cary Goldberg. Dr. Grant holds her dental degree from the University of Illinois Dental School, where she graduated with the highest honors in 1991. From there, she went on to pursue her masters of Science, with an Orthodontic Specialty certificate from Northwestern University Dental School.
Dr. Grant has been honored with numerous awards for her services and her practice, being recognized as a Top Dentist 2017 & 2019, receiving the Homewood Beautification Awards for the past two years, as well as being featured on WGN’s Chicago’s Very Own and CBS American Healthfront. She is the author of Simply Smile, A Parent’s Guide to Choosing the Right Orthodontist.
Dr. Grant is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Chicago Dental Society, the American Dental Association and the Illinois Society of Orthodontists.
Dr. Grant is a health and wellness enthusiast and is dedicated to living a healthy lifestyle. She practices yoga, cycles outside or indoors on her peloton, and enjoys walking in nature, especially by the beach. She is a voracious consumer of imagery from design, travel and fashion magazines, and she keeps a large library of inspirational books. Together, Lisa and her husband, Cary enjoy going out to dinner with friends and traveling abroad. In addition to being with Cary, her greatest pleasure in life is spending quality time with her two incredible daughters, Kendall and Jolie- watching them follow their dreams and providing them encouragement and support! She credits her success to her incredibly devoted mother and father, as well as her “rockstar” husband, Cary – who is a never-ending source of motivation and inspiration.
