The staff are very friendly and Dr. Thurman was very thorough in explaining the process and my concerns. It had been a very long time since I had gone to a dentist and was a little apprehensive, but Dr. Thurman and his staff quickly put me to ease.

Dr. Thurman has been in private practice for over fifteen years in Colorado Springs. Before that he was a dentist in the 82nd Airborne for three years.
Dr. Thurman grew up in Iowa and got his biology degree at the University of Florida. Returning to the Midwest he got his dental degree at the University of Missouri in Kansas City.
The dental office procedures include gold crowns, all white zirconium crowns and bridges, implants, white composite fillings, root canals, bleaching, dental hygiene cleanings, and lots of
new smiles. We see children and adult emergencies including extractions.
Dr. Thurman is the sole owner and is happy to practice preventative and conservative dentistry with open communication and a gentle touch. You will find him honest and humble.
Dr. Thurman has been married to Kathy for over twenty years and has two children at Air Academy High School. We recently adopted a Great Dane from Big Dogs Huge Paws.
Outside the office Dr. Thurman enjoys spending time with his family and triathlon training. He has run the New York City and Boston Marathons along with numerous triathlons including a half ironman. He was captain of his high school track and cross country teams and can now be found training with Luke and Michellie as they compete in running and club soccer in high school and college. He looks forward to refereeing more soccer next year and riding RAGBRAI with his son again. He is also an avid reader of European and U.S. history.!
