Southern California Orthodontist, Louis F. Mascola, DDS, is a dedicated orthodontist focused on providing exceptional orthodontic care for children and adults. Dr. Mascola has practiced in the South bay areas of San Pedro and Torrance, CA, for over 43 years. He has extensive experience in all traditional orthodontic procedures and modern techniques such as Invisalign, Invisalign Teen, and Incognito Hidden Braces.
Dr. Mascola graduated from the University Of Southern California School Of Dentistry in 1968; and completed his Specialty training in Orthodontics at the University of Southern California in 1979. During this time, he also taught part-time at USC, as a Clinical Instructor of Prosthodontics, the specialized field of dentistry concerned with diagnosing, planning and executing restorative and cosmetic treatments, for nine years.
Dr. Mascola’s extensive experience and broad knowledge of dentistry, prosthodontics, and orthodontics allows him to work with his patients, their dentists, and clinicians to treat the most difficult of cases. Dr. Mascola knows that each patient is unique. He personally devotes the necessary time to fully diagnose each patient’s needs; to determine what course of treatment offers his patient the best option for achieving the beautiful and confident smile they deserve.
There are many treatment options available for patients from traditional braces to the most technologically advanced technique of orthodontic treatment, Incognito. Dr. Mascola is one of the first providers of Invisalign in the country and is one of only a handful of Certified Incognito Orthodontist in America.
