Dr. Louis Visser has called Phoenix home for more than 30 years. After graduating from Arizona State University, Dr. Visser attended Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska where he recieved his dental degree. Upon graduating in 2004 Dr. Visser returned to Phoenix and worked at several private practices where he focused on high quality, state of the art dental care. He is committed to providing the highest level of oral care to his patients and assuring they are both informed and comfortable with each aspect of their care or procedure.
Dr Visser gives back to the community by donating dental services to The Phoenix Zoo. He has worked on lions, tigers, monkeys, bears and many other amazing animals!
In his free time Dr. Visser enjoys spending time with his wife Nichole and their three children.

This is the first time a dentist office gave me a thorough, hour-long cleaning, by a dental hygienist, without trying to upcharge the free cleanings offered by my insurance. And I actually got some good advice/teaching! Not only that, but I had 3 small filings done painlessly, and all in about 2 hours on a Saturday. Super-friendly & all the costs explained & in writing. I'll be back!

Very thorough! All the billing/insurance stuff was explained & in writing. Super-nice staff & dentist. He even lowered my bill when a cavity turned out to be less complicated to fix than he thought! And they even carefully screened for cancer (which, as a cancer survivor myself, I wish my previous dentists had done). Some Saturday appts too! I highly recommend this office!

Mr. Visser is a wonderful dentist. Him as well as his staff provide excellent service! I was really nervous going in to get my fillings done but him and his staff made sure I was comfortable and relaxed, which made my experience a heck of a lot better than what I have had in the past. Also, the fillings he preformed were perfect, he made sure my bite was exactly how it was prior to the filling being put in. I give this man and his staff and A+. I will definitely be going back!

I am a 34 year old female who has had teeth problems my entire life, so I was nervous and filled much anxiety (not all dentist gentleness is created equal) as I've been through quite a few growing up moving from place to place.
I came today for 1 root canal, 3 posts and 2 build ups on two teeth that had previous root canals done by a different dentist... so 3 teeth total.
To my surprise (based on my life experiences) my trust in Dr. Visser was easily rendered after this visit being one in which required more in depth procedures to be done. From the shot, to the root removal to the build ups I was 100% comfortable throughout the entire process, he kept me informed step by step the entire way through to ensure I knew what he was doing as the process continued on, he asked me several times how I was doing.
There are only a few ways I can explain exactly how pleased and blessed I am to have found him...
Dr. Visser truly strives for excellence and that's reflected in the gentleness he takes with his patients and he has inspired me to get in there and get my teeth where they need to be; I no longer need to be in fear of going to the dentist! I can honestly say for the first time I am not scared to go to the dentist and get my teeth problems addressed. I thank you so very much for being a dentist that sincerely cares about your patients comfort. Impressed is simply an understatement.

I had the best experience in 15 years, the Doctor was so experienced and kind and caring to my needs. This was a true professional he explained every step he was doing and why. He was very gentle and patience to my fear of needles. He made me feel comfortable and safe. I'm returning in two weeks to finish up the tooth. The staff is so AWESOME!!! Dr. Visser is gentle, and he takes time to discuss your questions and concerns about treatment. His assistants and support staff are attentive, personable, and kind. The office sent a text reminder about my appointment, which was a nice touch. But I was more impressed to receive a personal text from Dr. Visser later that evening, checking on how I was feeling. The offices are very clean and tidy and, during treatment, you face a large window to the outside, which I found much more calming than a blank wall. I felt I was treated very well, and I would recommend Dr. Visser and his team to anyone with dental health concerns.

This was my second visit, and the staff was just as personable and accomodating as last time. Dr. Visser conscientiously addressed some concerns I had following my first visit and I like how he gently explains things during and after the procedures. Going to the dentist has always been a stressful event for me in the past, but it comforts me to know what the procedures entail, what to expect next, and why. Plus, I love hearing anecdotes about the doctor's experiences working on big cats for the Phoenix Zoo :)

I got there, they verified all my info from ZocDoc, and in about 15min Adriana, the dental assistant, had me in the back doing X-rays. Dr. Visser was very informative and very direct with me, and his bedside manner was funny and outgoing. Also, bonus points for the super awesome pictures of all the big cats and other zoo animals he's helped do dental work on.

Have tried many dentist in the valley. He is undoubtedly the best. His is gentle. Had a long, complicated procedure and I was comfortable and at ease at all times. The caring, gentle manner in which Doctor and his staff treated me made this a pleasant experience. His practice is clean and hygienic and parking is easy.

Dr. Visser is a wonderful dentist. I have never liked going to the dentist and have a huge fear of procedures with the dentist. Dr. Visser informed me that I would need to have a root canal done at my first visit to him. I had always dreaded hearing those words and feared the procedure. Dr. Visser assured me that there would be no pain and that the reputation was worse than the actual procedure. Had the root canal done yesterday and felt nothing! Dr. Visser is a man of his word and an excellent and caring dentist. All staff members are concerned with your well-being. Would highly recommend Dr. Visser.
