More about Dr. Maddy Stumpos, DDS
During college, Dr. Stumpos had the chance to shadow many different professions to see what the day-to-day experience was like. She ended up falling in love with dentistry. She saw time and time again that having healthy teeth and a confident smile could literally change someone’s life. She also noticed how personalized dental care could be and liked how the dentists were able to tailor their approach for each patient. It seemed like the perfect fit for her, and she hasn’t looked back since choosing her path.
Dr. Stumpos attended the University of Michigan, where she earned her dental doctorate. From there, she went on to complete her specialty training in orthodontics. Even though she is out of school, she says her education has never truly stopped. She continues to stay on top of and research the latest technology and techniques in her field so she can consistently offer her patients the best care possible.
Dr. Stumpos is engaged to our own Dr. Tom Brown, and they love spending all of their free time outdoors. Whenever they can, they like to go hiking, running, biking, and snowboarding. Dr. Stumpos also likes to craft (draw, paint, embroider) as well as cook and bake (she’s recently started making sourdough). She met Dr. Brown while in dental school, so they also cheer on their beloved Michigan Wolverines whenever they can catch a game.
