My visit at Manassas Dental Smiles had been by far the best dental office experience I have had in a long time. The decor of the office was so nicely done especially the reception waiting area which put my fear of going to the dental office at ease. The front staff and assistants were also welcoming and helpful. Dr. Usman was very gentle, thorough and detail oriented, he took his time to explain my oral health in detail, not just the dental work I had needed but also how I can work on prevention. Using the state of the art camera technology, he not only explained but also showed me intra-oral pictures of my teeth showing me the areas I needed to do better job at brushing and flossing. I would definitely recommend him to all of my friends and family members.

He is a caring, gentle, and experienced professional dentist who believes in the philosophy of creating family term relations instead of just treating patients’ immediate needs. He is a general dentist with extensive training in Restorative, Prosthodontics, Periodontics, Endodontics and Cosmetic Dentistry. He combines dental expertise, gentle chair side manner and state of the art technology to create beautiful, healthy smiles.He received his DDS with Honors from New York University in 2008 with induction in National Dental Honor Society – Omicron Kappa Upsilon – recognizing him among top 10% of dental students. He started his professional career in Worcester, Massachusetts with a local private dental office where he accomplished to transform a new office to a well established practice over flowing with patients in less than two years. In 2010, he moved to the state of Virginia in order to be close to his family and friends. He believes that patient comfort and patient education are top priorities. He will spend as much time needed to explain your treatment options and answer all of your questions.His goal is to continually improve his professional skills in order to deliver caring, quality and comprehensive dentistry in a comfortable and professional manner. Continuation of education in dentistry remains a regular part of Dr. Usman’s professional life.

Wouldn't recommend if you want a doctor who listens. Told me straight up he was trying to build up his "healthy patient list" so I felt uncomfortable talking to him about my problems. Most of the staff seemed unhappy working there, other than the MA and the receptionist/MA upfront was amazing! Probably would have walked out if she wasn't so good at her job!

Most knowledgeable and informative Doctor around the Northern Virginia, he really did care and built excellent rapport but also didn't hold back any criticism much needed criticism I should add. If you are looking for a great dentist then make an appointment after reading this!
