After several years of study she graduated from New York University College of Dentistry as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. The staff was friendly and the service was sufficient. The equipment used seemed to be outdated to other places I've gone to where I used to live. At the end of the treatment I was advised to get my wisdom teeth out. However, they aggressively pursued having me start payments on that and a whitening that I was not interested in. Overall, it was an alright experience.

The staff was extremely friendly and informative. Even though I arrived 15 mins late, I didn't wait more than 5 mins to see the assistant.

I suppose, it gets the job done. I had to wait about 40 mins after my appointment time. It seems as if they forgot I was there after checking in. I didn't want to be rude,but after a 30 minute wait. I finally asked if they were ready, they called my name immediately after. It seems like they just forgot I was there. ... The cleaning took only 20 mins. They wait was longer then the actual cleaning. The cleaning felt fast and rushed, very simple! Lastly, I was told I now needed braces, although I have been there several tims in the last year and gotten a lot of work done; no one ever mentioned braces before until now. Maybe my teeth made a drastic change or it felt like i was just being talked into booking again.

The waiting area is to small. They book more patients than they can handle. My waiting period was more than two hours. I was unable to get the treatment that I went there for and was giving another appointment date to have it done due to Maria Alvarez being so busy.

I have gone without a dentist for several years either because of distance of office from my home/work to bedside manner. I was a little leery when I happened upon the building where the office was held. Once I walked in although small received a state of the art experience from the front desk to the DDS herself. Of course prices are comprable, but off the charts as with all dental work. However, they provide you with payment options to assist with the burden. Thinking about making this my official dental office.

Unless, a person is prepared to waste several hours for a procedure that should not take more than 20 minutes, I would not recommend the place to anyone. Very disorganized and slow. The dentist's bedside manner was acceptable.

Dr. Alvarez is very professional, knowledgeable and personable and shows great concern for her patients. She took the time to explain to me everything I needed to know about my dental work. The office staff were also very friendly and considerate, and the hygienist did a great job without hurting me during my cleaning (and I was a tough case). The office has a nice ambience and is very clean.
