Dr Maria T Cook was born and raised in Bogota Colombia, and graduated with honors from the prestigious University of Bosque Dental School in 1992. She completed Internships at the National Neurological Institute, Childrens Cardiology Institute, San Jose Hospital and the Oncology Institute. After practicing Dentistry over 5 years she moved to the USA and enrolled at Louisiana State University, where she earned her US Dental License in 2004.
Dr Cook has worked throughout South Florida since 2005 , at many different dental offices while perfecting her skills. Most recently she has been working the last 5 years at Center for Dental Implants in Aventura alongside, a well known expert in Implant Dentistry . She spends her time lecturing and teaching the skills necessary in Implant Dentistry to dentists all over US. Dr. Cook manages his practice specializing in Cosmetic & Implant Dentistry , all the while, continuously improving her knowledge in Implants and Bone Graft techniques….She excels at all phases of general dentistry and has a wealth of knowledge from Cosmetic Dentistry, Implant Restorations, Crowns,Root Canals and Veneers.
When not furthering her thirst for knowledge in advance education seminars, Dr Cook can be found doing God's work at her Church, and occasionally traveling . She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Dr Cook is an active member of the American Dental Assoc ( ADA ) and the South Florida Dental Assoc (SFDA), the Worldwide Association of Female Professionals.
