Dr. Maria began her endeavor at Martires de Humboltd 7, located in San Antonio de los Baños, Habana , Cuba. She attended a high school specialized in advanced science curriculum from 1988-1991. After graduating, she was admitted to the School of Dentistry at the Universidad de la Habana. She was a member of the Achievement Club named Plan Talento. She was expected to graduate on August of 1996 however she decided to migrate to the United States before finishing dental school in June of 1995.
Arriving to the U.S., she then attended Miami Dade Community College and pursued her
Associates Degree in Arts. She then obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from The State University of New York at Albany and was accepted into dental school at The University of Florida. She graduated from The University of Florida in 2005 and completed
a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Hospital in Gainesville in 2006. She has been working in private practice since then.Dr Maria has been married for 15 years and has three wonderful boys Leonardo, Edgar, and Alexandro.

This was the worst dentist I have ever been to. I was in there an hour and a half and they had not even gotten near cleaning. I left after X-rays. Before that, the dentist was ARGUING with me for 30 minutes, I have never argued with a doctor before... She was telling that I do not have a filling, and then continued to point the filling out to me on the Xray. Then saying I do have a filling, which I told her was too high up and I can't bite properly, and she told me that isn't true. It's causing me discomfort and I went there specifically for this. She only wanted to argue, and said she could file the filing, but didn't want to.
