Dr. Maria is a Restorative Dentist. She holds a B.A. in Zoology from Miami University, and received her DMD from Case Western Reserve University school of Dental Medicine. She also is a member of and lifelong student at the Kois Center for Advanced Dental Study in Seattle, WA. She is a member of the Boston Dental Alliance, a small, esteemed group of dentists and specialists who meet to share ideas and review cases monthly. She has a passion for her career, and is a third generation dentist in her family. Most of all she loves implant, cosmetic, computer, and sedation dentistry.
Dr. Maria was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, and spent a year living in Sydney, Australia. She moved to Boston immediately after dental school as she loves all that New England has to offer. She has set up roots here with her husband and their “son” Yorkshire terrier Taki.
Dr. Maria enjoys sharing her gift with those less fortunate. She has been on four mission teams to provide free dental care to those around the world. With these groups, she has served in the Dominican Republic, Kenya, and twice in Honduras. Her vow is to give back in this way every other year. She loves to cook, travel, and spend time with friends, family; some of which live in Greece, New York, and Cleveland.

Beautiful office with advanced equipment. Staff were very friendly and caring. My hygienist was extremely knowledgeable and gentle. She even turned on the massage setting on my chair! Dr Vasilakis was so friendly and incredibly helpful. I’ve seen several dentists who gave me rather useless advice with my sensitivity and worsening translucence in my teeth until I came here. Highly recommend!

Dr. Vasilakis and her staff are really phenomenal. I'd gone in because of what I thought might be a cracked crown (it wasn't - but that popcorn didn't do it any favors). My regular dentist is in Kansas City, MO and I still go there because I visit my parents frequently. But I didn't want to wait six weeks until my next visit, and I pass this office all the time; I live nearby. I'm really glad I did! Everyone was very friendly, and Dr. Vasilakis gave the tooth a careful look before letting me know the good news. I was particularly impressed by this, given that I was one of those patients clearly just passing through!
I liked this office so much that I thought about ghosting my beloved family dentist. I really did. I'm still not quite ready for to make that move, but this is no fault of Dr. Vasilakis and her team.

I had a great experience at Maria Vasilakis's office. Every member of the staff from the front desk to the DMD was kind, helpful, and extremely nice. For someone who tends to have anxiety surrounding visits to the dentist, this was a much better experience than I expected. I would highly recommend this dentist's office! Thanks to all of the staff for making my anxiety disappear and my teeth shine!

Maria and her staff were very accommodating. Often times when I go to the dentist, I feel like the dentists are judging me but I felt very relaxed at this office. It was very clean, neat, organized, and the coffee was a nice touch.
