Dr. Almeida grew up in Miami and received her bachelors degree in biology from Florida International University. She then went on to receive her doctorate in 2003 from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. Directly after dental school she jumped right into private practice and acquired real life experience that has enhanced her quality of treatment and patient care. She keeps up to date with all the latest modalities and training through continuing education.

Dr. Almeida attended both me and my husband, she was so sweet and attentive; her staff were also so helpful and attentive. I liked that everything was explained before it was done along with accurate estimates. We will definitely be going back, in the waiting room we met one of her long time patients who told us that we had made an incredible find and that we were in the perfect place! It was also nice to see that she had a established a friendship with the staff and the doctor's husband who came out to the waiting room to chit chat with her and greeted us when we came in. The exam rooms have fishtanks like in "Finding Nemo", as an animal lover thus made me feel at ease. I'm also super terrified of needles and she was so gentle and precise, I didn't even feel the injection; she also didn't tell me before injecting so by the time I figured out she was going to inject me it was too late to even freak out!

I have had 3 visits (2 extractions and one cleaning )and one pending visit at this office and they are attentive and make you feel comfortable from the beginning .I am terrified of going to the dentist but I felt at ease in the office .I have so much appreciation for this Doctor and her staff !

Walking into the waiting room, I was feeling nervous since I hadn't been to the dentist in a couple of years. I didn't have to wait long after I filled out the paperwork to be entered into the room. I was called in by who was going to be the dentist's assistant. She was talking to me and making conversation with me and trying to put me at ease as I am sure she saw how tense I was. I sat down in the chair and everything was clean and what seemed very hygienic to me. She took my X-rays which are digital and they automatically pop up on the screen. Once she was done, Dr. Almeida greeted me and she did my exam. She was very transparent on everything I had to be done, and she was able to explain and also show me the problem areas with the x-rays. I didn't feel like she was trying to come up with false things like I have heard some dentist to do. Since I didn't have insurance, she gave me an estimate of how much the procedures would be and the order of necessity that I would need them. I felt no obligation at all to do any procedure, and I liked that they took into account that they waited for my approval before starting anything.
Dr. Almeida did amazing work, and it was painless! I am so glad I found her office because not only is she a great Dentist, but she has amazing staff, and a great environment that made a very scary and uncomfortable day for me, a great one!!

My Children needed a cleaning while on a long vacation in FL. Dr. Almeida took us in and made them as ease. My youngest tends to be a "high anxiety" type of dental patient and she immediately calmed him down.
The staff is amazing and very efficient. Highly recommended.
