I can’t say enough good things about Modern Dental. They were my first dentist office when I moved to Vegas in 2010. I was a lifer right out the gates! There was a hot minute in 2020 (I think) that I started seeing a new dentist because my insurance was out of network..but the amazing staff at Modern Dental somehow figured it all out and I was SO.GLAD.TO.BE.BACK. Let me tell ya, I was always a big fan of Modern Dental but now even MORE SO having experienced a different option in this city. Best Dentist, hands down. Friendliest staff. Love how everyone remembers your name, your face, and random details about your life. I think it's flattering. Modern Dental has figured out a way to make you feel like you're visiting family two times a year when you pop in for a visit. Not much more I can say, they're simply the best!!!

Dr. Mark Edington grew up in Las Vegas, graduating from Valley High School in 1992. He then began his college education at Brigham Young University, taking two years out of his college years to volunteer as an LDS missionary in the Dominican Republic where he became fluent in Spanish. After graduating Brigham Young in 1998, he immediately enrolled at the prestigious Creighton University Medical Center where he received his D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree in 2002. Following one year in Arizona working with a large clinic associated with the Lutheran Medical Center dental residency program, Dr. Edington returned to Las Vegas to be close to his family.
Dr. Edington spent the next 5 years directing dental care at multiple Las Vegas area clinics. It was always Dr. Edington’s dream to build a modern dental practice in his own community with the latest advances in dentistry. Beginning in 2006, he carefully designed and equipped our first office to provide extraordinary care for residents and visitors of Las Vegas. In 2016, after 10 years at 700 E. Silverado Ranch Blvd., Dr. Edington moved the practice just around the corner to our new convenient and beautiful location in the Albertson's / 24hr Fitness Silverado Ranch parking lot at Silverado Ranch and Maryland Pkwy. Modern Dental Care continues to carry out Dr. Edington’s mission to provide the highest quality dental care to the community he grew up in.
Dr. Edington has advanced training and certification in providing Anxiety Free Dentistry and is a member of D.O.C.S. (Dental Organization for Concious Sedation). He is a Premier Provider for Invisalign (Invisible Braces) with more experience than any other general dentist in the South Las Vegas area, Lumineers (ultra-thin porcelain veneers) trained, and is a certified Visilite (oral cancer screening) provider.
