Welcome to the office of Dr. Mark Martin!
Our goal is to deliver the highest quality of care to our patients in a warm and friendly environment. We strive to make our patients feel like a close member of our family. If at any time you have a question, please call us and we will be happy to provide you with an answer. Our staff is always ready to spend time answering your concerns and discussing your treatment. One thing that separates us from other practices is our emphasis on educating our patients about their treatment options and oral health issues. Dr. Martin will take the time to discuss your concerns with you and options for treatment. It is a pleasure to serve you and we hope to hear from you in the near future.
Dr Martin has been practicing dentistry in his hometown of Escondido since 1987. He received his dental degree at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. After dental school Dr. Martin did his General Practice residency at U.S.C./L.A. County Medical Center, where he learned more advanced dental surgeries and techniques.
Dr. Martin continued his education through the Academy of General Dentistry, earning his Mastership in 2003. He is one of only 149 actively practicing general dentists(out of 20,000)in the state to receive his Mastership from the Academy General Dentistry. Dr Martin takes the time to listen to his patients desires and educates them on their dental health. He tries to make each patient feel as if they are a value part of his family.
In his free time Dr. Martin can be found at various sporting events supporting his daughter who is a high school cheerleader and his nephews who are avid soccer players.

Very thorough, completely explains and answers questions. Takes time and you don't feel rushed in and out. Assistant just as pleasant as can be. The entire visit exceeded my expectation and made me feel so at ease and comfortable. I almost forgot I was at the dentist.

Doc Martin is a VERY caring man. This was my first visit, and I had some rather specialty work to take care of. The Doc and staff were caring, friendly, professional, and very willing to help out financially. I really like Doc Martin and will be going back.

Office was busy when I came in. Receptionist welcome and took my insurance. Within 10 mins of my appointment the assistant came out to tell me they were running late. I liked that. When Dr. Martin saw me he made me feel comfortable and took time to talk with me. He did not rush me out because he was running late. Nice guy.
