First visit there and I loved it! First time I enjoyed a dental visit. They got me right in and on time. The hygienist was gentle so the cleaning was not painfu for the first time everl. All the equipment is state of the art as well. Dr. McGowan was so personable, didn't push unnecessary procedures and was very professional! My husband is going to switch dentists to him now. Awesome experience.

After finishing his undergraduate degree at the UofU. Dr. Mark McGowan attended Temple University School of Dentistry. He then completed a Residency at the UofU Hosptal. There he worked with medically complex patients and learned expanded dental technique. Dr. McGowan not only provides general dental procedures but is able to perform advanced procedures including root canals, dental implant placement, wisdom tooth removal and TMJ treatment. Dr. McGowan worked as an associate dentist in Murray and Taylorsville Utah. He then opened
an office for a dental company in Farmington Utah. Dr. McGowan then started his private practice Bountiful Ridge Dental.

Not only is Mark incredibly knowledgeable, personable, honest, thorough, patient, professional, punctual, & efficient, but everyone on his staff is equally as friendly & competent. I lucked out.
Gorgeous modern state of the art facility with the latest equipment & technology, fresh clean office with hardwood floors & backyard mountain views right outside your private chairs window. His own private practice is one of the only I could find offering free bleach strips, plus they gave me complete control of the Netflix remote & headphones as a helpful distraction. Lol Just 10 mins North of downtown SLC with flexible booking options (even Saturday availability if you're in pain) - including uber easy options to reserve online or through their phone app at your convenience, which is a huge bonus for me!
Being afforded the luxury to work for companies reputable for their world class customer service has jaded me with unrealistic expectations, which they impressively exceeded. 5 star rave reviews on 5 different websites, so I'm clearly not the only one that loves them! It's apparent their entire team is happy & their passion for what they do shines through. ??

I had some jaw pain that wasn't going away and I saw that Dr. McGowan had some experience with TMJ so I decided to see him. The staff was incredibly friendly and the doctor was exactly what you are looking for in a dentist: professional, friendly, and punctual.

I had a great experience visiting Dr. McGowan. The entire staff was warm and welcoming. I had tooth pain and called and got right in that same day and it was a Saturday! My previous dentist wasn't open and I couldn't get a hold of him for help. Dr. McGowan you are a life saver. Thanks again.

I am so glad I found Dr. McGowan. My insurance changed and I needed to find a new dentist that accepted my plan. I found Dr. McGowan and after the first visit I was sold. You have me as a patient for life! Dr. McGowan is incredibly knowledgable and answered all my questions. I had a tooth that needed to be fixed but my last dentist didn't do root canals. Dr. McGowan took care of it w/no problem and no pain. Thanks again!
