Best Dentist I have ever been treated by. In almost every other dental office I've been to, the hygienist does 95% of the job and the dentist comes in to check at the end. However, Dr. Payne does the whole thing. She cleans, polishes, flouride treats, flosses - she is the only person who deals with you. Love that. And she is incredibly thorough. Our entire family of 6 goes there. We LOVE Dr. Payne!

Dr. M. Catalina Payne graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in Biological Science, Concentration in Microbiology. She attended the University of Nevada School of Dental Medicine in Las Vegas and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine diploma in 2010. Dr. Payne is a member of The California Dental Association, American Dental Association and Santa Clara County Dental Society. She attends continuing education courses on a regular basis to stay updated on improvements in dental technology, practice and procedures. Dr. Payne also donates a considerable number of hours to local schools and community programs supporting oral health for both kids and adults. Right after graduation, Dr. Payne worked in several practices throughout the Bay area building her experience until she started her own practice in Los Gatos.
Dr. Payne and her staff pride themselves in making every patient feel comfortable with a laid-back patient centered approach to dentistry and patient comfort. Come in and meet Dr. Payne! When she has free time Dr. Payne enjoys spending quality time with her family, sports, gardening and being active in the community.

My family has been going to Dr. Payne for about two years now, since she was at her Park Ave location. Her new office in Los Gatos is amazing and even has an area now where my kids can watch shows or play video games. Our family comes to her because she really cares, is always detailed with me and makes my kids comfortable during checkups & cleanings. My 10yo had a small cavity & was scared but Dr. Payne used Nitrous to help him relax & it worked. We have a dentist that our family will see for years to come.

Dr. Payne and her assistant are very friendly and welcoming when you come to the office. It is a very clean and efficiently run office. Dr. Payne took care of both of my sons with care and explanations that they understood.

I was so happy to find Dr. Payne's office. Most people have fear of going to the dentist. I was no different, but Dr. Payne really helped ease of fears. She has a gentle demeanor and a lovely bedside manner. I could tell she was genuinely interested in assessing my dental health. So, after first visit, i still continue seeing her for my dental care. I never wait long, her staff is very nice. I highly recommend her services to anyone seeking dental treatment.
