Dr. Mason B. Konkle was born and raised in Austin, Texas. After graduating from LBJ Science Academy in Austin, he moved to Provo, Utah where he received his engineering degree from Brigham Young University. He chose to become a dentist after the life-changing experience of getting his own esthetic dental problems resolved. He met and married his wife, Dr. Jennifer H. Konkle while they were both in college. They moved to San Antonio where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree (D.D.S.) at the University of Texas Health Science Center. During his senior year he was the recipient of the prestigious James P. Vernetti Award for excellence in restorative dentistry. In his free time Dr. Konkle enjoys photography, traveling, hiking, and spending time with his wife and two young (and busy!) children.

I am new to Hatch Family Dentistry and needed some work done. I also have some anxiety (who doesn't??) with dental work. Dr Konkle called me ahead of time and answered all of my questions. (I promise there were a lot.) By the time we hung up, I felt much better about my next appointment. He is just the dentist I've been looking for and have already referred my family to their office.

Hatch Family Dentistry, Dr. Konkle, & Juanita were an answer to our prayers. I have never know a dentist office to be so accommodating, compassionate and understanding. The entire staff is genuine and kind. I couldn't recommend them highly enough. Run don't walk to Hatch.

I HATE going to the dentist.
Scarred to death. Many botched procedures ect.
They listened. They were compassionate. They weren't the slightest irritated by me being a wuss.
Rather than rush into a bunch of overwhelming stuff ...
I have an appointment to discuss my options and I decide how we proceed.
I am very confident to return.
They set my anxiety at ease.

Absolutely amazing! I had a terrible experience with a dentist when I was younger. Dr. Konkle made me feel so comfortable, answered all my questions and explained everything. The price was very affordable. I plan to stay with him for as long as I can!!

It was amazing to be able to get an appointment on a holiday!! We arrived at the office about 10 minutes early. The patient hadn't finished the paperwork when a very pleasant dental assistant called her in for the appointment!! (unheard of!!) the office is well set up with comfortable chairs, up to date magazines, and pleasant front end staff. (Very knowledgeable too!!)

Great experience all the way around! Dr. Hatch and Dr. Konkle extremely knowledgable and honest, and really patient. Take time to insure you are comfortable with any procedures. Excellent dental practice.

Went here for my first check up in years and had a great experience. I have to get a good amount of work done but Dr Konkle took his time, even staying late as I was his last appointment, in explaining why and when everything should be done. He's easy to talk to and the whole staff were extremely welcoming and nice.
