I did have to wait, but let me tell you that the wait was WORTH IT!!! After having a bad experience with a dentist I was very nervous about this appointment. Before begining the initial exam Dr. Howard listened to my concerns and respected my boundaries/anxieties.
Dr. Howard and Stephanie didn't just settle my nerves, they made me comfortable and eager to come back.

Dr. Howard, his wife, and two young children, have recently moved to the Saint Louis area to be closer to the rest of his family. He and his family enjoy bicycling, hiking, other outdoor activities and being involved in the activites of St. Johns Church in Ellisville, Missouri.
Dr. Matt Howard, D.D.S. has been in practice for 10 years and is experienced in preventative, restorative, endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontic, implantology, and oral surgery.
Dr. Howard graduated with honors in the top 10% of his class from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2001. Before attending the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, he received an Bachelor of Science, cum laude, in Biology from Drake University in 1996.
While at the University of Iowa, Dr. Howard was a member of the following organizations:
American Student Dental Association, a member of the Pharmaceutics and Therapeutics Committee, Dental Class Treasurer for the Class of 2001, Editor and Librarian for Psi Omega, the National Dental Student fraternity, a Chief Prosthodontics Lab Tutor and Monitor and an IASDA committee representative.
He received the following awards while at dental school:
Recipient of the American Association of Endodontists Award, Ralph C. Appleby Prosthodontics Award, DRA and multiple NIDR research grants and the Charles G. Sleichter Award in Orthodontics.
He is or has been a member of the following organizations:
American Dental Association, the International Association of Orthodontists, the Academy of General Dentistry, and dental honors society Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He has been a member of the Iowa Dental Association, Illinios Dental Association, and the American Society of Dentistry for Children.

Dr. Howard is a nice man, i honestly do feel he tried to treat me to the best of his ability. His staff was very nice and whenever i had issues he ALWAYS tried to get me in. I honestly didnt have a positive experience with him and ultimately had to find a new dentist. I had an extraction done and it was not healing properly, going to another dentist discovered something was down in there and would need to be removed. In his defense, as soon as he was made aware he did have me come in and removed the object. Dr. Howard replaced a few of my fillings, when i just went to another dentist he said one had already cracked and needed to be replaced, this was less than 6 months ago. I also feel they are a little high priced and very demanding when it comes to paying. I never had any issues paying but their wesbite displays they make payment arrangements but throughout their offices its listed you MUST PAY for services rendered. Again, not angry or bitter just didnt have a very good experience while being under his care. Staff was friendly and always very professional and his offices are very clean. Every doctor patient experience can be positive and this is a prime example.

What a great dentist. I was so scared to get three teeth pulled and him an everyone in the office made me feel so comfortable. as long as dr howard is around he's my dentist for life. I will never be afraid again with dr Howard.

Really patient, professional and good at what he does. The environment of the dental clinic is very friendly too. Had 2 crowns done there late last year and he Dr. Howard did an excellent job in treating me!! Will definitely go back and recommend to others.

Mr. Howard was having trouble with his network getting calls left and right but spite everything going haywire I got seen within about 10 minutes of arriving 5 minutes early. He made sure to answer all of my questions and explained what was going on and even broke it down to make it easy to understand exactly what was happening unlike all other dentist I've had. He was friendly along with all his staff. I'm pleased and will be a patient of his as long as I live in the area.

Dr. Howard and his staff are wonderful. I never have to wait more than a few mintues to be seen.It has been years since I have been to the dentist and I only went because it was a dental emergancy. He and his staff are compassionate and understanding regarding dental phobias. All procedures and costs were explained in detail to me prior to receiving treatment. Dr. Howard and his staff have taken all of the fear (pain, cost etc) out of going to the dentist.
