Dr. Melissa Kupfersmith was born and raised in Valley Center, Kansas and attended Kansas State University for her bachelor’s degree. She then attended the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston where she received her degree as a Doctor of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Kupfersmith’s interest in dentistry arose when her orthodontist was able to transform her smile and improve her speech by correcting the spaces from having two missing teeth. She loves bringing about the same change of confidence in others through improving their oral health.
Dr. Kupfersmith has participated in mission trips to Ecuador, Peru, and Haiti and volunteered at free dental clinics during dental school. She has a strong passion for serving others through dentistry.
In her spare time, Dr. Kupfersmith enjoys spending time with her husband, Jacob, and dogs, Archie and Rocky, riding horses, and cheering on the K-State Wildcats.
