Dr. Missy is skilled in a wide variety of dental areas, including cosmetics, crowns, bridges, implants, root canal therapy and digital radiography. A member of the American Dental Association and clinical evaluator for one of the national dental journals, she is also a member of the Tennessee Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Tennessee Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Downtown Franklin Merchants Association and the Nashville Dental Association.
Dr. Missy studied at Delta State University before receiving her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Mississippi. She received advanced training at the William C. Strupp Postgraduate School of Dentistry, Las Vegas Institute & the Louisiana Cosmetic Continuum. She practiced general dentistry with her father in Mississippi for six years and served as an adjunct instructor for the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry. In 2010, she received her fellowship in dental oral conscious sedation (DOCS).
Dedicated to serving the Middle Tennessee community in any way she can, Dr. Missy is also a member of the Heritage Foundation, an inaugural member of the Pinnacle Study Club of Nashville and a former member of the Cool Springs Rotary and the Franklin Breakfast Rotary. She is a current member of the Williamson County Chamber of Commerce and has also volunteered with Interfaith Dental Clinics.
Taylor Made Smiles benefits from the great partnership between Dr. Missy and her husband and office manager, Court Burton. In their spare time, Missy and Court enjoy gourmet cooking, travel and playing with their children and dogs.

Dr. Taylor and her staff, especially GiGi and Carmen, are exceptional. They greeted me like I had been a patient there for years. I felt so at home and comfortable. If you are looking for a dentist and dental hygienist that has an awesome bedside manner and cares about your teeth, please give them a call. I was very impressed when they handed me a bag, after my procedure with Soup, applesauce and pudding for me to eat. They will definitely take care of you.

It's always a pleasure going to Taylor Made Smiles. Dr Taylor is very nice, professional, and clearly knowledgeable on dentistry, and I appreciate her sense of humor. Her dental hygienist, Courtland, is simply wonderful. She's so energetic, cheery, funny and beautiful. She always puts a smile on my face and the reason I look forward to going to the dentist. The rest of the staff are all very friendly and just an overall positive place.

The whole dental team is fantastic and cares about your overall health. Dr. Missy has been my dentist for almost 10 years. She's extremely knowledgeable. I have a rare neurological disease and she had a general awareness of my condition but did some additional research so that when I came back for my next visit she let me know things to monitor, as it relates to my dental health. I highly recommend Dr. Missy.

I have been going to Dr Missy for 8yrs - I would never go anywhere else. They have taken such great care of me over the years!
I've had the same hygienist for the past 5 yrs --- she knows me well and gives me great advise; and we have a great visit each time I'm there.
Dr Missy has replaced all of my gold crowns with porcelains ... and they look amazing.

This is definitely the best dentist I've ever had. I never have to wait for anything. They always get me sight in for every appointment I need. They look us on as new patients the very next day after we called. Everyone is very friendly and clearly love their jobs. They don't do the "sit and watch" thing my last dentist did. They take care of problems before they become major issues. I appreciate the time and effort they put in!

I really hate going to the dentist and have been scared to get my teeth cleaned. My first time at Tylor Made Smiles changed the way I saw the dentist. Dr. Missy was so cool & professional. Everyone made me feel so comfortable and it was not scary at all. I have had some horrible dental experiences & I am so glad I finally found an office that makes me feel at home & at ease. I look forward to my visits their instead of treading them like I used to at my old office. Taylor Made Smiles is the best!!!

Like most people, I was pretty nervous about going to the dentist for the first time in a few years (Shame on me, I know). As soon as I entered the beautiful office, I felt so welcomed! I was greeted with bottled water and even received a parrafin wax treatment on my hands while I waited! What a treat! Gigi was so friendly and assured me no matter the imperfections going on inside my mouth, my smile was still beautiful! Dr. Missy was very prompt, friendly and extremely encouraging (even with less than perfect news to share with me. I finally feel confident that the perfect people are taking care of my mouth! Thanks so much for an incredible experience. I would recommend this office to anyone & everyone! Two huge thumbs up!
