She was wonderful, had a great energy and was very friendly! She answered all of my questions and she really put me at ease I was full of anxiety when I first arrived and the communication between the front desk staff and I was not the greatest (but it seemed that other patients were having not so great experiences with the front desk when I arrived) the staff at the front desk when I was finished (shift change or lunch I assume) was very warm and friendly I appreciated them! As well as the dentsl hygenist he was grest also!

Dr. Butler is amazing and has a wonderful bedside manor. She's efficient and effective. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Melody Butler was born in Raleigh, North Carolina. She lived with her family in the Raleigh area through high school. Dr. Butler then attended Meredith College where she earned her undergraduate degree in Biology with a concentration in Health Science. For her studies in Dentistry, Dr. Butler moved to Columbus, Ohio to attend “The” Ohio State University. At Ohio State she became a Doctor of Dental Surgery.
Post-graduation, Dr. Butler moved to the Northern Virginia area where she first started practicing in Leesburg and Lorton. In January 2015, Dr. Butler joined the Annandale Smiles Team. Dr. Butler specializes in restorative dentistry but is always working to learn new procedures and techniques.
Dr. Butler enjoys spending time with her husband. They have a passion for new restaurants and trying new recipes at home.

Dr. Butler is an amazing dentist! Dr. Butler takes pride in her work and proudly treats me more than just some patient, she approaches me with the human factor. Dr. Butler is not pushy and articulates well preventative methods to keep me from visiting her office for emergency services! Great doctor, great practice, now I have a great smile! Thank you Dr. Butler.

I really enjoyed my visit with Dr. Butler, her warm and sweet personality made my experience in getting a crown a success! I knew it was not going to be an easy process, but she talked to me through it and time flew by. I will be coming back for sure for any future work.

Dr. Butler did my crown prep, saw me for a follow up a couple of days late (I had some discomfort and was worried) but all was good. Today is 2 weeks and my crown (permanent) was ready. All went well. I was also so impressed that she has called me a day or so after the crown prep to check in. I felt very reassured!

To be honest the dentist is not my favorite place to be. Dr. Butler made my procedure comfortable and was very patient with me. I will be recommending her to family and friends!

Dr Butler has a great bedside manner. She takes the time to not only find out why you are in the office that day but also what you r long term concerns re. Dr. Butler fixed an old cavity for me. No more pain. Thank you Dr. Butler.
