Very professional! He explained everything to me in detail. I always wondered how they knew where the cavities where and he explained on the xrays. He was very patient and funny. The location of the office is a bit hidden. Parking in located in the back of the building, can't park on the street for longer than an hour if you need work done. Overall I was in the dentist's office for xrays and cleaning for about an hour.

"Very efficient staff.
Thorough explanation of X-Rays.
Described a logical course of treatment and left the decision up to me on how to proceed."

I would be wary of the up-selling at this Dentist. They suggested extra "treatments" that would have cost me more money, but when I pushed back, they decided that I didn't need them after all. I don't like medical facilities that do that; I just need the basics and for medical staff to be straightforward. It shouldn't be a game to make money, especially when it's not just offered, but you're told that you "need" it. The woman who did my cleaning did the cleaning really fast (compared to cleanings I've had in the past), and it seemed a little haphazard; she was also a little rough. Will probably go back for a cleaning since they have the xrays now, but not very happy about it.

It was the best dental office. No pain and no shot for a cleaning. Digital xrays. Dr goes over the treatment plan with you and explains. Good manager & staff.

Dr. is really gentle. You can't even feel the shot. Had a deep cleaning and it was non painful. I'm sure coming back to Sherman Oaks Smiles in 6 month.

I came in to the Sherman Oaks office and was greated right away in the waiting area. I waited less than 5 minute I felt very comfortable with Dr/Balikyan and he seems to care about his patient and make sure he answers your questions I never felt rushed I will be back in 6 months.
