Dr. Michael Leuchtmann is a 2010 graduate of the Marquette University School of Dentistry. After graduating, Dr. Leuchtmann made the trek from Wisconsin to Missouri, where he has lived and worked ever since. Since graduating from dental school, Dr. Leuchtmann has been providing exceptional dentistry to families in St. Charles and the surrounding communities.
Dr. Leuchtmann is a member of the American Dental Association and the Greater St. Louis Dental Society. Dedicated to continuing his education, he consistently takes dental courses and seminars in order to provide you with the care you need. He has received advanced training in many areas of dentistry, including CEREC same-day restorations and Invisalign. As a dentist, Dr. Leuchtmann aims to make people happy while giving them a healthy smile through excellent care. In order to provide the best possible care, he also strives to keep his office up to date with the latest technology.
Dr. Leuchtmann is married to Megan, the owner of a dance studio, and they are parents to their four-legged child, Brower. In his spare time, Dr. Leuchtmann loves playing with computers and learning more about technology. An avid sports fan, he also enjoys water polo and watching the St. Louis Cardinals play.

I was a complete nervous wreck in regards to getting my cavities filled. My experience with a PREVIOUS dentist was horrible. Dr. Leuchtmann ensured me my procedure would be painless and he was 100% accurate. He was very patient with me as well as took his time to explain detail by detail what was happening, I wanted the nitrous gas and throughout the procedure I realized I no longer needed it. This was by far a great experience. I am no confident about my second batch of cavities.

Long afternoon for both of us - i had a tooth that needed to be pulled and it was a tough one! Dr. Leuchtmann took his time to carefully remove the tooth to ensure an implant would work - gave me some extra novicane to help with the pain - and patiently explained what was next. Appreciate his patience, and making me feel comfortable in a situation that for most would not have been. :)

Considering all the procedures they had to do last night, I feel it went very well and they were excellent at managing the time. 1.5 hours for having 2 teeth pulled and full impressions, prep and a temp cap is incredible. In addition to be able to have this done after work was extremely convenient.

My visit went very well. I was very nervous about my appointment because I was going to have a tooth pulled and a bone graph performed in preparation for an implant. During the procedure I had no pain and out of the office in a hour, couldn't be any better.

Everything went better than expected. Was a bit worried as a root canal I had several years ago somewhere else was very painful, kept hitting a nerve. At Elm dental I felt no pain at all and was thrilled with Dr. Leuchtmann. Very professional, asked if I was comfortable several times during the procedure. The entire staff was excellent. I am so glad I chose Elm Dental.

Went in for a root canal - have never had any dental work done so I was nervous. While working on my tooth he decided I needed a different treatment not a full root canal. Great explanation and reasoning; didn’t want me to have an unnecessary procedure. Very gentle and pain free procedure. I was shocked! Great staff and location. Going back for a crown in a few weeks. Would highly recommend!

His assistant got me right away, started the topical numbing process. Next I was hit up the assistant with the injections. Dr. Leuchmann arrived and did the work. I was in and out in 25 min. I was also offered a rose upon leaving.

He is by far the best dentist I have ever gone to. He is very patient and understanding. He makes you feel very comfortable even when you are freaking out. He went out of his way to make sure I was ok. He took his time and got every piece of my tooth out. The office staff is very good too. Getting a crown was a good experience as far as a dental treatment can be. Unfortunately this became infected and a root canal had to be done. The team at the office was helpful and set up an appontment within a couple of hours. All in all the team did everything they could do as quickly as they could.

I have always had great experiences with Dr. Leuchtmann and Elm Dental. All the staff are friendly and caring, and they have good bedside manner! Dr. Leuchtmann explains everything he's doing before he does it so you know what to expect and aren't taken by surprise. I previously had some awful experiences with dentists and was so afraid to go, but thanks to Elm Dental I'm no longer nervous or scared--they are awesome!
