For the past almost 10 years, Dr. Pilar has made me countless orthotics. They have helped to prevent the daily headaches I used to get before seeing him. He’s help to make a huge difference in the pain I used to feel in my jaw also. I’m very thankful to have found such a caring and knowledgeable doctor.

Dr. Pilar has been my tmj doctor for close to 3 years now. He is extremely knowledgeable with tmj and its affects. Anytime I'm in pain he's been able to help me. My orthotic has lasted almost 3 years and I needed another one in an emergency situation and the doctor was able to get me in to see him within a reasonable amount of time. I cannot sleep without this NTI and it has changed my life with migraines drastically. I would not go and see anyone else for this important matter in my lif

Dr. Pilar has been helpful with the problems I have been having with my bite/ TMJ issues and how to deal with them so far, but also all other reviews describe the same sort of experiences I am going through and Dr. Pilar really seems to understand those issues and how to help.
There are no discrepancies that I have found so far between what I am hearing or reading and what I have experienced thus far

Before I had my appointment with Dr. Pillar I knew little to nothing about TMJD. I’d had terrible sinus issues since grammar school due to clenching at night but it was extreme pain in my jaw after accidentally cracking it while yawning that brought me to his practice. Dr. Pillar explained the effects of TMJD clearly and candidly outlined the steps that would have to be taken as well as the costs.
Today I have little to no pain in my jaw and my sinuses are the clearest they’ve been in my life. If you have severe pain or discomfort as a result of TMJD Dr. Pillar is one of the most qualified specialists available.

I have had Dr. Pilar's NTI unit for over a year now and I cannot sleep without it. I don't wake up with headaches nearly as much and my jaw is not locked upon waking. I recommend a consultation, and his orthotic, to anyone with TMJ issues.

I saw Dr Pilar for severe Tmj. I also suffer from migraines. Within a few days of wearing the custom fitted mouth orthotic, the tmj pain had substantially reduced. I look forward to even more of a successful response in upcoming appointments! He is very patient and never rushes you! I highly recommend Dr Pilar!

Dr. Pilar helped my son a lot! My 16 year old son began suffering from migraine headaches and lightheadedness a few months ago. This was preventing him from sleeping soundly and causing pain and distraction at school. We were lucky to discover Dr. Pilar. Dr. Pilar quickly identified that my son was suffering from severe muscle strain in his jaw caused from braces that had realined his teeth but created an inbalance in his natural jaw movement. Many doctors immediately think of a neurologist when teenages complain of headaches; but, they may not consider that TMJ may be the cause. Once Dr. Pilar identified that the source of headaches was from TMJ, he was able to make my son a custom oral orthotic right at his office. My son's headaches allieviated within a day and within a week my son's migraines and lightheadedness dissappeared! This is life changing for my son and for our family. I very highly recommend Dr. Pilar!
