The service was fantastic! I came in for a cleaning it only took half hour from start to finish. No scary dentist unnecessary drilling or discomfort. The doctor noticed my jaw may have some alignment issues, but I’ll follow up about that!

Everything from check-in to check-out was great. Dr. Shanas, Harriet, his wife/office manager, and the dental assistant (Chantelle, I think?) were so welcoming and friendly. Dr. Shanas made sure I was comfortable and well-informed. No one looks forward to going to the dentist, but an office like this makes it less of a pain.

Dr. Shanas was very friendly and as was his assistant, which I didn't get her name but she was great! I would highly recommend Dr. Shanas. This first experience was a winner! Dr. Shanas has great conversation and great punch lines and one-liners! Get ready to laugh, enjoy the professionalism too. Dr. Shanas gave me a thorough exam and went over my options and he was very respectful. Again, thank you Harriet for checking on me after my visit. Thank you Dr. Shanas and his assistant. I was not treated, I set an appointment for a tooth extraction and only had a consultation. That was a waste of my time and I took off of work for nothing.

This was my first visit to Dr. Shanas and it was kind of an emergency because I had a tooth that was hurting. It was a very good experience and that is saying a lot because I had to have an old filling replaced.....shots to numb, grinding out the old filling... all the stuff that makes going to the dentist scary.
Dr Shanas has a great bedside manner. He explained exactly what he would do, told me when I'd feel pressure etc. so there were no surprises and it was completely painless!!!!

Dr. Shanas is an excellent dentist. Very thorough and skilled in making sure the job is done right the first time. I've gone back for a follow up and even had a crown done. Spent a lot of time getting a good mold and making sure there were no gaps for food to get caught in. Very satisfied, very recommended. You also might even get a lesson in history or linguistics while you are there!

I liked him very much and his staff was very friendly. However, I was expecting to get my teeth professionally cleaned. I did not receive that. He did x-rays and told me I had no cavities, which is good news of course, but I did not receive any treatment or cleaning.

Dr Shanas is a wonderful person! He has a quirky sense of humor and will keep you giggling why he attends to your dental need. I'm sure he uses it as a distraction (who really likes to go to the dentis)t!?! He will now be my dentist of choice. Harriett, who works the front desk is just as delightful and attentive to every patient who walks in the front door.
