Dr. Turner received his dental degree from the University of Maryland and his medical degree from SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine, after which he completed residency training at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. A diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and an active member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the New York Academy of Medicine, Dr. Turner is an expert in facial reconstructive surgery and orthognathic surgery, as well as dental extractions and implant surgery. He is a national expert in the management of salivary gland diseases with a focus on sialendoscopy. Dr. Turner is the associate residency program director for the Mount Sinai Beth Israel Residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
