Dr. Michael Whitted completed his undergraduate education at the University of Northern Iowa, located in Cedar Falls, Iowa. After graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry, he went on to attend dental school at the
University of Illinois at Chicago. He is happily married to his wife Anna, and he is a very proud father to his three sons Michael, Johnathan, and Christopher. Dr. Whitted was an
associate dentist in Naperville, Illinois for three years before opening his own practice in South Elgin, Illinois in May of 2006.
Dr. Whitted and his family have fallen in love with the Fox Valley area and are proud to call it “home”. Living within minutes of the office offers a convenience and flexibility to both himself and his patients. Dr. Whitted and his family are involved in the local community and he loves running into patients around town; whether it be at National Karate, Target, a Saint Patrick’s event, or even while out to dinner at a local restaurant.
Dr. Whitted is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS), Chicago Dental Society (CDS) and the Fox River Valley Dental Society (FRVDS). These organizations allow him to stay up-to-date with all the recent changes in the field of dentistry, through the many hours of continuing education he and his team receives each year.
