This is the best experience I have ever had in a dentist office. Doctor Munther Salem is a true professional and a great listener. He was very patient and very caring. Dr. Munther Salem was born and raised in Chicago and wanted to stay in the city that has given so much to him. Dr. Salem is dedicated to serving the communities in Chicago. Dr. Salem understands the struggles some patients have when it comes to dental care. Growing up to working class parents, his family did not have dental insurance and struggled to find a dentist that could adequately address all of their needs. These different experiences drove Dr. Salem towards the dental field. He understands how access to care is our biggest problem in our healthcare system today. This is why he continues to provide affordable dentistry to all of his patients.
Dr. Salem graduated from the University of Chicago, College of Dentistry with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. After completing dental school, Dr. Salem has stood by his mission to provide dental care to underserved communities by volunteering on weekends in community clinics. Dr. Salem also travels every year to Jerusalem to work in Hospitals to treat special needs children. As a student he was treasurer of UIC's American Association of Public Health Dentistry (AAPHD), which worked tirelessly to bring free dental care to the homeless and low-income areas. An active member of the ADA, ISDS, CDS, and AAPHD, Dr. Salem is dedicated to not only helping patients in the dental office but the dental field at large within the community.

Dr. Salem and his staff were professional, caring, and honest. The atmosphere is relaxed and puts me at ease. Dr. Salem took his time to go over my x-rays and explain all my options. I highly recommend him!

After being treated by Dr. Salem, my fear of the dentist went down one notch! Dr. Salem is exceptional I would highly recommend him. Hopefully I don't have to go back anytime soon but if I do I know I'm in good hands.

First of all, I have never had a positive experience at a dentist. I was extremely nervous to even schedule, and I can honestly say that Dr. Salem & the Miswak Dentistry staff completely changed my perspective of the dentist. Dr. Salem went over all of my questions in detail, & made sure that I understood my treatment. He was extremely patient, kind, and empathetic about all my dental concerns, and for the first time in my life, I feel like I will have a 100% healthy & beautiful smile.
