Dr. Joseph Nassif has practiced in Alexandria since 1982. He received his DDS from the University of Maryland and his graduate prosthodontic specialty degree (MSc) from Ohio State University. After retiring from the USAF Dental Corps he became an associate professor at both Howard University and Georgetown University College of Dentistry.
Dr. Nassif is a member of several dental organizations, author of 30 scholarly publications, a textbook chapter and has given numerous lectures worldwide in prosthodontics and in temporomandibular disorders (TMD or TMJ).
Dr. Nassif includes dentistry in his hobbies and volunteering at a low income Northern Virginia Dental Clinic.
He enjoys being with family, golf, swimming, fishing, hunting, and traveling abroad. He is also the Director of the Annual West Virginia Chestnut Festival.
