Dr. Nami Cho is a San Francisco native and an assistant clinical professor at UCSF School of Dentistry. She received her doctorate in dentistry from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Following matriculation from dental school, she completed a general practice residency at the Veterans hospital at Mare Island, CA where she received advanced training in implants, restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She is an active member of the California Dental Society and American Dental Association. Dr. Nami Cho's dental philosophy is to provide quality and compassionate dental treatment so that all patients have a healthy and beautiful smile. She works with each patient to address their unique dental concerns and provide a tailored treatment plan for their individual needs.

First time visit with her and everyone on the staff is very warm and welcoming. Her bedside manner is unmatched by any doctor I have ever met and she makes you feel like she is a friend. She explains every single detail very beautifully and simplistically. She guides you through every step of the process, lets you know when it might hurt a bit more and makes you feel absolutely at ease with all the things that are going on. She also provided with very helpful tips about the toothbrush type, mouthwash and floss instructions. Her staff is also quite amazing, I knew almost nothing about my insurance details and the staff helped me understand every bit of it in a very quick way. The service itself was quite extensive, I have been to other dentists where they do a quick cleaning after the procedure and let you go. But here they do a really good rinse followed by a floss and provide extensive post-op instructions. Overall had the best experience and I would definitely highly recommend that you visit her if you are in need.
