The visit with the doctor was very brief, about three minutes. Although the supporting staff was VERY friendly and took great care of you. My appointment basically was a visit with the staff, not the dentist. Although still would recommend.

Hello, my name is Nana Dickson, but you can call me Dr. D. I started this office with the goal of creating long lasting, positive, dental experiences that my patients can carry with them to form healthy dental habits for life. For many people, going to the dentist has been a source of anxiety because of past experiences. I would love the opportunity to show you that going to the dentist doesn’t have to be like days of old. I genuinely enjoy practicing dentistry and helping my patients look and feel their best. I am dedicated to providing gentle and effective care to patients of all dental backgrounds. I believe that excellent oral health begins with education and prevention and I have made it my mission to enlighten patients and encourage them to take greater control over their own dental health.
I grew up in Montreal, Quebec and Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada (you’ll still hear me say “Eh” every now and then). An alumnus of the University of Oregon, I love everything about Oregon Ducks football. I completed my dental education at Howard University and went on to complete a one year General Practice Residency at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Washington, DC. I am dedicated to continuing education and strongly believe in learning everything I can about dentistry and passing this knowledge on to my patients.

I am neither the type to leave online reviews nor the type to care about keeping the same provider year over year. I feel the need, however, to highly recommend Dr. Dickson and her staff. They are excellent. I have gone to them for years through three moves, and I legitimately look forward to going to the dentist.

The visit was not the best. This was the only time I have NOT finished a dental appointment and left before the cleaning. I don't like my blood pressure being checked, which caught me off guard and it was explained to me why, which I understand but this is a DENTAL OFFICE....NOT MY DOCTOR! I just did not like having it checked, it was high for some odd reason and it FREAKED ME OUT! I had to see my doctor ASAP to make sure nothing was wrong, which it was fine. I just am NOT IMPRESSED with this!

Dr. Dickson and her team were excellent and kind. They definitely know what they are doing however I was kind of disappointed in how I went in for a regular cleaning but ended up getting so much extra treatment and paying a lot more than expected. They explained their reasons and didn't sound condescending like some dentists out there but it happened a bit fast; I may have wanted a second opinion since I haven't heard the issues they claimed from my previous dentists. But if you're looking for atmosphere and to get absolutely everything done for your teeth then I highly recommend her.

I've been to many dentists over the years and have had a fair amount of dental work done. Dr. Dickson has been the nicest, most friendly dentist I have been to and her staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. At my first visit, her assistant took many pictures & x-rays, after which Dr. Dickson fully explained the issues with my teeth, showing me the problem areas in detail. I highly recommend her as a dentist.

The appointment went above expected, Nana Dickson is by far one of the best dentists I've seen and her office is very welcoming and friendly. Her staff assisted me prior to arrival and upon arrival I was greeted by a friendly front desk, her physician assistant is also very welcoming and friendly and as a dentist she did a superb job not only listening to my worries and dental history but also consulting me, cleaning my teeth, and explaining the situation and occurrences within my mouth. I would recommend her practice to anyone who wants a good and friendly dentist.

I'm not really sure where to began but my overall experience with Dr. D has been great. She's very experienced, detailed and thorough. She makes you feel really comfortable and she's easy to communicate with.
What sets her aside is her genuine care and concerns about her patients. I've had to get three of my impacted wisdom tooth pulled out and she would often check on me via text and phone to make sure that I was ok. She checks on me often if I am having other procedures being done. I am never worried while under her care.
Her hours are flexible with early morning and late night hours. The office is nicely decorated and the equipment is top notch equipment and up to date. The staff is super friendly, I love them all.
I've never wrote a review for any doctors before but Dr. D definitely deserves one! Go and see her today, you won't be disappointed. :)

Dr. Nana must be one of the best dentist I've visited. She has a very skillful and careful hand with treatments. The office is very nice, in a very nice location, and has all of the latest technology. Her staff is very helpful and friendly.

She was wonderfully polite and nice. She explained everything she was about to do before she began, offered but didn't force extraneous services (though I took her up on the fluoride cleaning), and made sure I felt comfortable. The office was bright and clean, with light refreshments available. I really appreciated the dentist approved gum at the front desk since I didn't have the chance to brush before my appointment.
