Dr. Cornell received his undergraduate degree from West Virginia University in 1993, after which he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at WVU Dental School in 1997. Dr. Cornell performed his General Practice Residency — focused on oral surgery — at the Veterans Administrative Hospital in Martinsburg. That experience has provided him with an extremely advanced level of training, education and available treatments for patients needing his specialized services. This is his sixteenth year in private practice, and he has thoroughly enjoyed owning a practice first in Atlanta, Georgia and now in Tulsa.
Dr. Cornell has been married to his wife, Tamara, since 2005. They have two young sons, Henry and Benjamin, with whom they enjoy lots of family time including fishing trips, playing soccer, throwing rocks in the creek, and playing hide and seek. Dr. Cornell is a very committed WVU Mountaineer fan, and faithfully watches and roots for the Mountaineers every time they play.

Excellent! Everyone in the office is very nice and very helpful! Called with a toothache and they got me right in. Appeared that I might need a root canal and they called immediately and got me in with Dr Stone/Dr Ritters office while I was there which was just downstairs! I don't live in Tulsa so it saved. Me an extra trip. Really appreciated that!!

He genuinely cares about his patients. I was so scared and he even asked if I would rather see a dentist that would sedate me. He didn't try to tell me to suck it up or anything. He tried to make me feel comfortable and did a wonderful job as well as the rest of the staff.

Dr. Neil Cornell took over the patients of Dr. Charles Eihler. He was able to keep our hygenist, Abby Sweet. The transition has been easy and the new office personnel have been very nice to deal with. I had two fillings replaced and the experience was very nice and I had no anxiety! I highly recommend Dr. Cornell!
