Drs. Woods & Rabanal are consumate professionals and always a pleasure to deal with. Through extensive extractions etc neither has caused me any pain whatsover.

Dr. Neil Woods began his practice of Gentle Family Dentistry over 30 years ago. Everything in the office is geared towards the comfort of the patient. Dr. Woods and his staff are dedicated to EXTRAORDINARY patient care and results.
Dr. Woods has always had a philosophy of being there for his patients 24 hours a day. He thinks nothing of giving out his cell phone number and encourages emergency calls at any time.
Dr. Woods is a graduate of NYU School of Dentistry. He did a residency program at Children’s Hospital in Baltimore which included a residency at Johns Hopkins University specializing in reconstructive techniques on handicapped children. This included training in IV sedation in a hospital setting.
He is a past president of the Anne Arundel Dental Society. He also ran a clinic in Baltimore City for those in the inner city for a number of years. Dr. Woods and his associates, as well as his clinical staff, continuously update their training in surgery techniques, sedation dentistry, invisalign®, mini-dental implants, and cosmetic techniques. They use innovative practices such as the CEREC machine which mills crowns in the office. In this way Dr. Woods and his staff deliver excellent, up-to-date dentistry to all of their patients.

The dentist I scheduled with seemed to oversee the minion dentists he had running around doing his bidding. My experience in this office was atrocious.
I admit, I have a fear of the dentist's office. Between bad experiences and a tendency to not numb fully, I am a mess. I went there to face my fear and deal with my teeth, not to be ridiculed nor seen as a meal ticket. I dealt with both in a "consultation" that took 2.25 hours.
The facility is smelly, unkempt and outdated. The L. Ron Hubbard display should've done me in but I made myself stay.
The office manager, Tonya, and the dentist that actually looked in my mouth, Ashe, I believe, were the only gems in the place.
Dr. Woods himself actually pulled me into the filing room to preach to me about how much money I need to ask for from the financial institution, over and above what insurance and out of pocket costs were gonna be. Outrageous!
My recommendation for anyone who actually needs dental work - stay away. There are better dentists out there.
