Awesome bedside manner, friendly, kind, respectful, courteous, caring and helpful staff. I felt comfortable at my visit, understood and heard. I highly recommend Dr. Nicholas! Eager to go back to my next appointment already and I usually don’t like going to the dentist. With Dr. Nicholas, I'm comfortable and confident that him and his team will take good care of me and my teeth!

Growing up in the western suburbs of Chicago, Dr. Politis continues as a fourth-generation dentist within his family. He worked as an assistant chemist in their preclinical research institute. Dr. Politis then pursued his dental degree at Marquette University in Milwaukee, continuing his professional education through a General Practice Residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
Dr. Politis has always loved drawing as a child, seeing dentistry as an opportunity to marry his appreciation for artistry and science. He looks forward to serving Lakeview and its surrounding communities, while developing meaningful relationships with patients. Dentistry affords all practitioners a unique opportunity to not only help others through direct service, but also to educate patients on how to keep a healthy and happy smile for a lifetime.

I have never had a dentist appointment that was so kind, thorough, and enjoyable. Everyone in the office was kind from the moment I stepped through the door until the moment I left. Both Dr. Politis and the hygenist explained what they was doing before they did it, in a way that was thoughtful and not condescending. We had great small talk throughout my appointment, which helped me relax and focus less on any discomfort or anxiety. He listened to my concerns, explained my different care options, and we built a plan together. I would recommend this office to literally anyone I know!

They were super nice. I have trauma from the dentist from when I was little so I really try to avoid it. They made some good conversations and let me in some tea they had in their lives. They showed me before and after pictures of my cleaning which was cool to see the results. I even saw a picture of my cavity that I unfortunately had.

Dr Politis was very friendly, professional and thorough with my care and being aggressive to treat problem areas like extracting wisdom teeth, puffy gums, teeth to watch and did the cleaning and flossing. He prescribed a special toothpaste and recommended a varnish application. He had high tech equipment and took pictures of teeth to show before and after cleaning. I would highly recommend.

Dr. Politis is great at communicating treatment plans and making sure you understand what is needed and why. I've had to see a lot of dentists due to numerous dental issues and can confidently say that Dr. Politis and his staff are some of the most approachable and friendly out there.
