Dr. Rivera was extremely gentle and mindful of my fears and concerns. She kept me informed of what she was about to do at all times and was at all times looking after my comfort.
She was more importantly exceedingly competent. She was able to save my tooth, heal my gums, and prevent any further damage. I would highly recommend her, especially if you like me, are not so fond of dentists.

Dr. Nicole Rivera will always make you feel welcome. Patients of all ages never feel rushed or uncomfortable. She believes in patient involvement. “It is important to involve my patients in the decision making for treatment, oral health is a teamwork effort.” Dr. Rivera Vargas is committed to helping every patient have the best oral hygiene, and educating patients to do more at home to minimize the time needed at the dentist. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Northern Virginia Dental Society.
Dr. Rivera speaks Spanish fluently and is more than happy to use her language skills with her patients. She enjoys working with patients from all over the world. Dr. Rivera grew up in Puerto Rico and attended the University of Puerto Rico for her undergraduate studies. She went on to receive her D.M.D from the School of Dental Medicine in Puerto Rico and graduated Cum Laude. After finishing her studies, she decided to gain more experience undergoing an additional year of a General Practice Residency in the Federico Trilla Hospital in Puerto Rico.
Dr. Rivera is passionate about giving back and has served as a leader in the World Health Ambassador (WHA) an international organization that provides dental and medical services to those most in need. Most recently she serves as Assistant Director of WHA and this group traveled to Vietnam in 2017 to provide dental services. She has provided volunteer services consistently every year since her undergraduate studies. She has traveled the world on voluntary missions including trips to Guatemala, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Saint Vincent and Puerto Rico. This experience has helped her to build relationships with people of different backgrounds. She regularly volunteers in the Northern Virginia Free Clinic

I wait for about 1 hour. First 15 min after my appointment. Then, they did x-ray for me and I waited for about 20 min. Then they did another x-rays and I waited for about 15 min. Also, I did not feel that people in the clinic are well qualified. They told me I will spend about 1:15 hour in the clinic but it took about 2:45 hours.

- I had such a great experience with Dr. Rivera.
- She constantly ask you how you are feeling while she is doing the cleaning. her soft hands made me feel so safe she takes the time to explain the treatment to you. Always ask you if you have any additional questions. The office is very clean and modern. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for an honest dentist Dr. Rivera is the right way to go!

The staff were all friendly and during my visit they all made sure all of my questions were answered. I felt very comfortable w/ Dr. Rivera. She is very gentle and great, made my fear of dental offices disappear! I would definitely recommend Dr. Rivera to friends and family.
