More about Dr. Norman Boyd III, DDS
“Dr. Ned” graduated cum laude from Harvard in 1996 concentrating in Classics-Latin, writing his senior thesis on the role of simile and ecphrasis in The Aeneid. He went on to teach Latin at his high school alma mater, Trinity School. Dr. Boyd graduated from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2001, where he was editor-in-chief of the Columbia Dental Review and was voted class speaker.
Dr. Boyd completed his advanced specialty training in Prosthodontics at the NYU College of Dentistry where he also taught. In June 2003, he presented research at the International Association of Dental Research in Gothenburg, Sweden on a new type of porcelain material for crowns. He is currently in full-time private practice.
He lives in Manhattan with his son, Norman (Nate) W. Boyd, IV.
